gradient ascent
градиентный (наибыстрейший) подъём, алгоритм градиентного подъёма
инкрементный алгоритм оптимизации, или поиска оптимального решения, где приближение к локальному максимуму функции идёт шагами, пропорциональными величине градиента этой функции в текущей точке.
